About

Love Light Norwich is a bold and bright festival in the City of Stories.

Taking place 5.30pm - 10pm Thursday 17 & Saturday 19 February 2022, Love Light Norwich brings unexpected magic to the city streets. Please note the festival will not be taking place on Friday 18 February due to an Amber weather warning.

Stunning installations, performance, projections, a city centre procession, and much more for everyone to experience, all for free. For 2022, Love Light Norwich will celebrate love in all its forms, and the communities that make our city.

Featuring internationally renowned artists like Nicholas Azidis (ProjectionTeknik)—who will return with a brand-new luminous projection on Norwich Cathedral, and innovative theatre company Pif-Paf—whose work invites audience members to become part of the art, in a unique interactive installation. The festival conjures enchanting experiences in the streets of Norwich through light, fire, collaborative exhibitions, music, and much-loved landmarks transformed into vibrant artworks.

Love Light Norwich returns to the city after a hugely successful debut in 2020, where 15,000 people experienced the City of Stories like never before. For 2022, Love Light Norwich will bring communities together again, creating a beautiful shared experience for local residents and visitors alike.
