Business Opportunities

Love Light Norwich is for everybody. We want to bring our local communities together, and make the city shine. As part of Love Light Norwich, we’d love the city’s businesses to get involved, whether through the Love City Food Trail, decorating windows, extending opening hours, sponsoring the festival, or through staff volunteering.

This is a chance for the city to unite and celebrate – Love Light Norwich gives people from across the region an opportunity to enjoy amazing art for free, and supports the local economy, in a time when footfall is traditionally low. We expect audience numbers over the festival to be in the region of 20-25 thousand, with attendees from across the city, region, and the country.

Love City Food TraiL

12 Feb – 12 March

The Love City Food Trail is free for all hospitality businesses to participate in. Through an extensive marketing & PR package, including a new printed map, participating businesses will be promoted to local residents, tourists, and more! 60% of hospitality businesses who participated in our pilot Dino City Food Trail earlier this year experienced an increase in diners.

Participating businesses simply need to create a love themed dish, drink, or treat. (This can be a dish that you are already creating for Valentine’s Day!) Please get in touch to with victoria.felipe@norwichbid.co.uk to confirm your participation – last date to be included in the printed map is Friday 14 January.

Your business will then be promoted as part of Love Light Norwich, and the City Food Trail, across VisitNorwich, Love Light Norwich, and Norwich BID marketing channels, including social, email, print, and PR. You’ll also receive a neon light to be displayed on your premises, and other marketing materials.

For the Love City Food Trail, we are also introducing a new element: the Love Light Passport! This passport will be printed on the map or downloadable via our website. The public will need to collect 6 stamps from 6 different businesses that they have visited during this period to enter a competition to win a prize. We will be providing each of the restaurants participating with a heart stamp to be able to sign people’s passports.

Join our Love City Food trail to spread the love and surprise people with your new creations! You only need to send us:

  1. Your logo
  2. The name of your dish & high resolution pictures of it
  3. Social media and contact details

Window Dressing & Competitions

We’d love your business to decorate your windows to celebrate Love Light Norwich! The theme is love & belonging, with a bright twist. 10 lucky businesses have also won a £100 prize each, to help them create a stunning window display, which will need to be on show from Tuesday 1 February.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship helps Love Light Norwich bring amazing free cultural experiences into the city. We have three levels of sponsorship: Gold, Silver & Bronze, which all have different levels of financial contributions and business benefits. If you’re interested in becoming a sponsor, or contributing in-kind, please get in touch with victoria.felipe@norwichbid.co.uk

Volunteering

Volunteers help us keep the festival running smoothly. We’re looking for volunteer stewards, who will us deliver Love Light Norwich – whether that’s sharing information about each artwork, or helping with directions to the next location! If you, or your business are interested in volunteering, we’d love you to get in touch – email volunteerslovelight@norwichbid.co.uk or find out more here.

Late Night Opening

Love Light Norwich will run from 5.30 – 10pm Thursday 17, Friday 18 and Saturday 19 February, during half-term. We’re expecting an audience of 20-25k to attend the festival, including local residents and tourists. Love Light Norwich will create an amazing free attraction in the off-season, and we’d love for our local businesses to make the most of this opportunity, particularly hospitality businesses such as coffee shops – what could be better on a February evening than a hot drink to accompany fantastic cultural experiences!
